Casa Aventura (Adventure House) is styled on the traditional Spanish homes that dot the countryside throughout Andalucia and lies at the centre of one of Spain's most beautiful and unspoilt mountain regions, close to Sierra Maria-Los Velez Natural Park.
It is charming and elegantly furnished, whilst providing all your creature comforts. The thick outer walls keep the house cool in summer and cosy in winter.
Set in almond groves full of pink and white blossom in the spring, guests can enjoy stunning views from every window and balcony.
The house has eight guestrooms, with double or twin beds, and all are tastefully furnished in pine with a scattering of local textiles and art-work. All have their own private bathrooms with bath and shower. Many have Juliet balconies that open out onto the dramatic scenery.
Ample bedding and clean fresh towels and linen are provided for you. We make your bed and clean your bathroom daily and can do laundry at your request.
Each guestroom has its own LCD flat-screen TV/DVD player, incorporating facilities to input digital camcorder, camera, laptop and a games console.
Other personal touches for your comfort include a hairdryer, CD player, clock radio alarm and hospitality tray which is stocked daily with tea and coffee.
An iron, ironing board and a trouser press are all available for use by our guests.
All rooms in the house are centrally heated and for your added comfort have ceiling fans and air-conditioning fitted.
There is a cosy sitting room with an open log burning fireplace, away from the guestrooms, tastefully furnished with luxurious leather sofas, coffee tables, large screen plasma television with satellite, DVD player, and video player. There is also a selection of books, board games and a well-stocked DVD library to keep you amused in the evenings or on those rare rainy days.
Our comfortable lounge bar is the perfect place to relax after a full day's activities.
The intimate Morus (Mulberry) dining room also boasts a log burning fireplace with French doors leading out onto a sunny, private terrace. A perfect place to linger and watch the dramatic sunsets.
Throughout most of the year breakfast and lunch can be eaten outside.
The front of the house features an open terrace with tables and chairs surrounded by stunning countryside. A perfect place to while away many an hour in the sierra sunshine.
There are beautiful gardens full of cacti and flowers alongside the house - there is also an extremely rare Morus tree, or Mulberry Tree, the fruit of which has been described as "delicious" by locals,.
To the front of the house there is ample parking.
A private swimming pool set on a landscaped terrace close to the house completes the picture. |
